In 2015, the Espoo Museum of Modern Art EMMA organised a retrospective exhibition of Nordström’s work. It was accompanied by the publication of a 300-page collection Nubben: Lars-Gunnar Nordström (1924–2014). The book is available in Finnish and Swedish editions. In 2019, the National Library published Janne Mäkelä’s book Nubben’s records: Artist Lars-Gunnar Nordström as a jazz collector.
